NSEA calls on Community partners to educate those in their personal and professional networks about the challenges facing public education in Nevada, to engage with state and local government to advocate for policies that guarantee an equal opportunity for all students to succeed and to support pro-public education candidates for office.
We are stronger when we work together.
To achieve its goals, NSEA works alongside a host of other unions such as the Culinary Workers Union 226 and SEIU 1107. We work closely with other community organizations such as the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN), Battleborn Progress, For Our Future, Mi Familia Vota, America Votes, Fund Our Future, Educate Nevada Now (ENN), and more.
These groups have demonstrated their commitment to the growing movement of educators, parents, and tens of thousands of allies in Nevada demanding the public schools our students need and deserve. No other professional organization does more for students and educators.
