I support NSEA because most educators want the same things – to be supported as they do their jobs without a lot of stress and outside interference. Whether through job protection, advocacy, negotiations, or protecting my rights, NSEA helps make my job easier to do.

There is so much we can accomplish through collective action with your help. Join NSEA today. Together, we can make life better for members and students. Our priorities include:

  • Progress on our Time for 20 campaign to secure a 20% increase in educator pay, $20/hour for workers who make our schools run, and a reduction in class sizes to an average of 20 students in core academic classes.
  • Passing the Respect Educators Act to elevate the safety, well-being, and autonomy of educators in their work through real accountability for violence committed against educators, adequate time during the work week for lesson planning, and fair work evaluations.
