On March 10, 2021, Congress passed the American Rescue Plan, President Biden's $1.9 trillion stimulus package that will provide critical funding for public schools, create and support millions of jobs, cut child poverty in half, make health care more affordable, and put this pandemic behind us.
For Nevada, that includes more than $1.3 Billion in total education funding. That's over $1 Billion for Nevada's public schools and $203 Million for Higher Education, giving us an unprecedented opportunity to reshape the future of public education and create a system that our students deserve.
School Rescue Funds Dashboard
In consultation with various stakeholders, including NSEA, the Nevada Department of Education has created a School Rescue Funds dashboard to inform the public how these funds are being used and spent by school districts across Nevada.
