NSEA supports AB355 to maintain monies across fiscal years in the two funds to assist school districts in financing capital improvements.
Ab2355 Support
Published: March 28, 2025

The Nevada State Education Association has been the voice of Nevada educatorsfor 125 years. This is just 9 years longer than David Norman Elementary School has been open in Ely, Nevada.

After many hearings and much conversation, the Legislature is acutely aware of capital needs in Nevada’s school districts, especially rural districts. This extends well past issues in White Pine, where students and educators are in buildings with broken windows, leaky roofs, and exposed to asbestos.

NSEA has been supportive of efforts by both rural and urban districts to address their capital needs. We ask for your support of AB355
