NSEA Grassroots Task Force

The NSEA Grassroots Task Force is committed to creating a school system that is adequately funded and supported (25th in the nation per-pupil spending or higher) and increasing the active participation of our membership in the political process in order to achieve this goal.

We are looking for ambassadors who are enthusiastic about grassroots activism and ready to engage in the work of organizing our NSEA members in order to achieve these objectives. As an ambassador, you will help this mission by tapping your personal skills and networks in support of specific grassroots activities and legislative priorities. It is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of our profession and help further the movement to improve education in Nevada.

Attend events planned by the NSEA Grassroots Task Force steering committee.
Support and engage in NSEA lobbying efforts.
Actively promote events and campaigns created by the NSEA grassroots task force to your personal and professional networks.
Become an NSEA Grassroots Taskforce Ambassador
Engage with tasks assigned by the steering committee.
Attend regularly scheduled calendar meetings (typically once a month outside of session and twice a month during session).
