NSEA Endorses Aaron Ford for Governor

“Nevada educators know Aaron Ford has always been a fierce advocate for our students and public schools. From his time as Attorney General, standing up against illegal and dangerously reckless cuts to the Department of Education, to his time in the Nevada Legislature, pushing for the resources our kids need to succeed, Aaron Ford has proven his commitment to protecting our future,” said Dawn Etcheverry, President of the Nevada State Education Association.

After years of chronic underfunding, Nevada ranks near the bottom in education and has the largest class sizes in the nation. NSEA believes the 2026 election is about ensuring our students finally get the public schools they deserve, and Attorney General Aaron Ford has demonstrated through both his record and lived experience that he will be the Governor to help deliver for Nevada’s students, educators, and families.
