Nevada educators are sounding the alarm. Students are losing access to programs and supports. School districts are cutting staff and increasing workloads. Educators are leaving the profession. Meanwhile, recent investments have produced measurable progress, but Nevada remains significantly below the national average in per-pupil spending and continues to face critical staffing and resource challenges.

The 2027 Legislative Session must be a turning point. It is time to fully invest in public education, respect educators, strengthen student supports, and build the schools Nevada students deserve. Seriously, Pass The Plan.

Seriously, Pass The Plan: NSEA's Legislative Priorities

NSEA's bill tracker is below. You'll find links to the full text of the bills on NELIS, official NSEA positions, actions you can take to get involved, and memos on the bills NSEA is tracking during Session.
