Pass AB232 and Respect ESPs

AB232 is an NSEA priority bill and corrects an inequity that exists for our education support professionals. AB232 would allow ESPs to receive a full year of PERS service credit for working at least 900 hours of the school year. This is a bill that creates fairness for our education support professionals, and we need your help to tell the Senate why they should support it.

Take Action

The Legislature needs to understand that ESPs play a vital role inside and outside of our classrooms. ESPs keep our schools and campuses running while ensuring students are safe, healthy, and ready to learn. With a shortage of ESPs statewide, AB232 can help with recruitment and retention as well. Send an email to the Senate and urge them to support AB232.
