Ruling on ESAs Keeps Money in Public Schools

Monday, January 11 a Carson City District Judge granted a preliminary injunction ordering the state treasurer office to stop the implementation of Education Savings Accounts. NSEA filed an amicus brief in support of the lawsuit filed on behalf of parents in Reno and Las Vegas challenging Education Savings Accounts.This court ruling is an important first step in keeping critically strained resources in our most at-risk public schools and not diverting them to private schools," said NSEA President Ruben Murillo, Jr.
