It’s Time to Erase, Rewrite and Reauthorize ESEA/NCLB

The time for action is now.

We have an enormous opportunity in our hands to make serious changes to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA)/so-called No Child Left Behind.

Here’s how you can help!

The ESEA Week of Action is next week, February 16th – 20th, which coincides with the first Congressional recess of 2015. The Elementary and Secondary Education Act is moving fast in both chambers of Congress – the House will be voting on a bill at the end of February, with full Senate action likely in March.

Please urge your colleagues, parents and community members to call 866-331-7233 and tell Congress to pass a new ESEA bill that provides more opportunity for all students!
We’ve got materials to help you spread the word!

Below you will find links and materials to assist in your Week of Action efforts:

To make this Week of Action a success, we need the voices of our members to fill the halls of Congress. Congress must know that educators are not going to stop until we have a new ESEA bill signed into law that promotes opportunity, equity, and excellence for all students.
Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for students, public education, and our communities. Together we can make this happen for the sake of our students.
