NSEA/WESP ACCESS Cards
By now you should have received your ACCESS membership/discount card. Your ACCESS card is truly a way to save money. This card will give you discounts on a wide variety of items throughout the United States. For example, you can save money from travel to McDonalds and everything in between. Know Your Contract
Who negotiates the contract? The contract is negotiated by representatives from WESP/NSEA and WCSD - no one else.
How many paid holidays do I get a year? If you work 25 hours a week or more you get paid for 11 holidays.
Can WCSD employees go on strike? No, going on strike by any school district employee is illegal as defined in Nevada State Law.
Does my supervisor have to let me have representation? yes, your supervisor must let you know that you have the right to representation any time they want to discuss something in regard to discipline.
When am I eligible for a step increase? If you are hired prior to January 1 of any year you will be eligible for a step increase July 1 of that year.
