NEA Fund for Children and Public Education

The NEA Fund for Children and Public Education (formerly NEA-PAC) is the political action committee account into which all voluntary contributions from members are deposited to use for political contributions.

NSEA encourages all its members to consider giving a monthly contribution to The Fund - a raffle and silent auction and the sale of hats and shirts and other merchandise.  Members are also asked to contribute to participants in a 5K race each year at the national Representative Assembly.

Because NSEA is not a federal political action committee, we cannot make contributions to federal candidates.  Candidate endorsement recommendations are sent to the committee that governs The Fund, and once that committee finalizes the recommendation, contributions to our candidates come from that fund.  NEA also contributes money back to Nevada to support political activities such as voter registration and other grassroots activities.

Our members contributions to The Fund make it possible for NSEA to participate in the election of our federal representatives and support our political and legislative goals at the national level.
